• Future works

  

  After two years of restoration work on the huge 13^th century retaining walls that support the abbey on the banks of the Garonne, 2010 will mark the resumption of interior renovation works. Until 2012-2013, the entire eastern third of the building, housing the former hostel, will be gradually refurbished. The first phase, which will begin in the second quarter of the year, will concern the main staircase from the 1760s, the staircase built in the gardeners’ wing in 1796 or 1797, as well as the southern row of guest rooms. We will keep you updated on the progress of the works, with accompanying photos!
